Some of you may have noticed that the avatars you've submitted here were added to the +favs at ~FreeAvatarProject. Is someone else trying to steal our members?

No way! ~FreeAvatarProject is our new account where we'll launch our Free Avatar Project within the next 3 months! We'd like members to +devWatch the new club account, add the link to your clubs list, and send submissions there from now on, and we'll add you to the new list of free avatar creators over there.

Why is this happening? There are a few reasons, but most importantly, ~FreeAvatarProject is a username that is simply more on point with what we're trying to accomplish, making our project easier to promote.

So please send your free avatars there, and we'll use the new account to promote your free avvies! Even if you don't have new submissions, any members that send a note to ~FreeAvatarProject can ask to be added to the list of free avatar creators there.

Does this mean *avatar-inc will close? Again, no way! We're developing plans, so stay tuned for future updates.




^2dazed has asked us to design avatars for her! This is EXCLUSIVE for members of the ~FreeAvatarProject only.

Here's how it will work: Members of the ~FreeAvatarProject can each design an avatar for ^2dazed. (Note: you MUST be listed here to qualify for this mini-contest.) Send your avvie to *avatar-inc in a note. Each month she'll choose one of our avatars to wear for the whole month. If she chooses YOUR avatar, she will mention you in her journal along with a mention of our project! In addition, we'll feature you and the avatar that you made for her in our journal.

So start designing! We look forward to seeing the cool designs you come up with for ^2dazed!
